Parker Plant Services was recently called out to an XN08 mini excavator that had completely lost its hydraulics and decided it had worked hard enough for one week! 😅
The customer had already spent some time trying to diagnose and repair the fault themselves but unfortunately couldn't get to the root of the problem.
On arrival, we found the hydraulic tank empty, so the system was refilled and bled through in the hope it was something simple. Unfortunately, the excavator had other ideas! 🔍
After carrying out further onsite testing, we identified a failed main hydraulic pump. To make matters worse, two hydraulic hoses had also burst — one on the blade circuit and another feeding the main hydraulic valve block. 💥
As always, the aim was to minimise downtime and avoid transporting the machine, so all repairs were carried out onsite at the customer's location. 👨🔧🚜
✅ Hydraulic tank refilled ✅ System bled and tested ✅ Main hydraulic pump replaced ✅ Two hydraulic hoses replaced ✅ Machine fully tested ✅ All panels refitted and secured ✅ All repairs completed onsite
