Alongside the repairs side, we buy and sell a regularly changing range of used plant and machinery from the yard near King's Lynn.

LOLER Inspections — Keep Your Kit Compliant and Your Team Safe

Here's the bit a lot of operators dread sorting out — but ignore at your peril.

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) is the UK statutory requirement that any equipment used to lift loads (or people) must be thoroughly examined by a competent person at statutory intervals. It's not optional. It's not a guideline. It's a legal requirement — and HSE inspectors do enforce it.

Parker Plant Services delivers proper certified LOLER inspections across the East Anglian region. We come to you, do the examination on-site, identify any defects, and issue the Written Report of Thorough Examination — your legal documentation that proves compliance.

What needs a LOLER inspection?

Why it actually matters beyond the paperwork
